How we handle your data

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. We do not use cookie-based tracking, session cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind.

Analytics

We use Umami for server-side analytics. Umami is self-hosted on our own infrastructure and collects aggregate page view counts only. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected, stored, or transmitted. No client-side JavaScript is used for analytics.

Email

If you leave your email, we collect only that — your email address. It requires double opt-in confirmation. We use Listmonk, a self-hosted mailing list manager, to send emails. Your email address is stored on infrastructure we control and is never shared with third parties.

Your rights under GDPR

The only personal data we store is your email address. We hold no names, no IP logs, no browsing history, and no profiles. Your email address is the totality of your data.

Because of this, your GDPR rights reduce to a single action: unsubscribe. Unsubscribing permanently and irreversibly deletes your email address from our systems. This is not a soft delete or a suppression list. The record is removed entirely. There is nothing left to export, rectify, or restrict.

Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link. No account or login is required. You can also contact us at hello@localrock.com and we will delete your data immediately.

Third-party services

This website does not load any resources from third-party domains. All fonts, styles, and scripts are served from our own infrastructure. No data is sent to Google, Facebook, or any other external service.

Compliance

Standards and commitments

LocalRock is built on open web standards. We are committed to full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a feature.

If you have questions about our privacy practices or wish to exercise your data rights, contact us at legal@localrock.com.
